I concluded the studies in Mechanical Engineering writing my MSc thesis at the European Organization for
Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, and after I worked there for almost 5 years as mechanical testing
engineer. Then I decided to align my professional life to my personal interest in environmental
sustainability, and to do a job devoted to the reduction of human activities’ negative impacts on the planet.
With this goal in mind, I obtained another university degree in Strategic Environmental Management at the
University of Padua, focused on assessing and reducing the environmental impacts of industries and
business via many environmental management tools and regulations.
During the latter studies, done in 2021, I “re-started” my career with an internship at the Sustainability
department of a plastic manufacturing industry where I still work at the time of writing. My areas of
expertise are products environmental impact assessment (LCA, carbon footprint) calculations and trainings,
sustainability in operation (waste reduction, energy efficiency), sustainable business development,
environmental communication, sustainable procurement due diligence.
I am incredibly happy of the new career I could undertake and for the B Lab Switzerland training and
affiliation. Thanks to these I could acquire skills also on social and economic sustainability of business, to
better help them to B a force for good.
In my spare time, I enjoy mountains, good food and music, and I volunteer in a local association promoting
circular economy.
